Perfect sized Shakshuka. Salt flakes on butter are perfect. Our server was very attentive and patiently explained ingredients and options. Great morning modern classical music, too.

We took pain suisse, raisin and orange and matcha. Pastries were delicious. Matcha was a bit milky (not strong enough for my taste). Service was amazing!! They showed us around and walked through menu!

In this modern era of fake 5 Star spots, this is an outlier. A true bastion of culinary excellence! The food here is beyond what you expect for a typical Brunchery. The pastries are flakey and fresh, the entrees are unique and delicious! The flour is imported and will not disappoint and those with gluten intolerance can indulge without fear! On top of it all, you'll be greeted with a smile and attended to like a king. Highly recommend the Ouef & Belly.

I stopped by Oh Lala for a quick coffee break. The croissant was flaky and fresh, and the cortado was smooth and well-balanced. The only downside was the slightly long wait time. I haven’t tried their breakfast or main dishes yet, but the experience was good enough that I’ll come back to explore more of the menu.

Very nice freshly baked bread and pastries. For the bakery counter takeout, just go to the left as you enter. We did takeout. Country sourdough round was very moist and yummy. Did not need reheating before eating, because it was very fresh. Croissant, chocolate croissant, and matcha tart excellent as well. Croissants are crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. Just like in Paris 😋 If you want to sit and order, you need to see the hostess. Could be a wait during weekend lunch time for tables.

I’ve been dying to visit for over a year now and I’m so glad I could make it today. The food was just as amazing as I imagined it would be, the staff were so genuinely friendly, and the cafe itself is so cute! I came pretty close to closing time so most of the pastries were gone, but that’s just another reason for me to come back. This cafe is not just aesthetics, it delivers true quality. I can’t wait to explore the rest of the menu. Love it! Thank you!

BEST. SERVICE. EVER!!! Seriously! Everyone from the hostess, who greeted us with the utmost hospitality and professionalism, the barista, who gave us a wonderful flavor profile explanation of our pour-over coffees, to our FANTASTIC server, who was an absolute delight, everyone was attentive and friendly. To add to that, the food was some of the best brunch items we've ever had! I had the Avocado Tartine, which was SO flavorful. Our server told us too that the flour they use in it is from Europe and causes less digestive issues than the standard flours we use in the states. How neat! My fiance had the Shakshuka, and he said it was perfectly spiced, delicious, and filling. He adds that the bread was out of this world too! We cannot wait to make a trip back with our friends to show them this gem of a restaurant in downtown Pasadena.

I was thoroughly impressed by this cafe. This restaurant serves quality through and through. Pastries to plated meals. For those who care - I asked for my meal to be cooked with butter, to which my waitress replied that the kitchen already cooks with clarified butter. Amazing! A diner is certainly cheaper, but Oh La La is an indulgent treat where price translates to craftsmanship.

From the moment we walked in we felt cared for and loved. The hostess was friendly, happy to see us, and very welcoming. Instantly we felt warm and cozy in Oh La La. We were seated immediately for brunch, even on Easter. We ordered the Veggie Quiche and the Sunrise Parfait. We also split a Cinnamon roll. Next time I will be getting a chocolate chip croissant or the blueberry scone, both looked so good. We will be coming back here the next time we are in Pasadena.

We recently visited Café Ooh La La and absolutely loved it. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere and vibe were warm, welcoming, and just really enjoyable. You can tell this is a place that truly cares about quality and the overall experience. I tried the beet tartine, and wow — it completely knocked my socks off. I could immediately tell that the bread was homemade, fresh, and perfectly crafted. Every single bite tasted high quality, and you can tell there’s real time, care, and attention put into every detail of the food. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and everything was beautifully balanced. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but the moment you taste the food, you immediately understand why. You’re paying for genuine quality, fresh ingredients, and craftsmanship that’s hard to find. The customer service was also top-notch. Wesley, one of the staff members, was especially friendly, welcoming, and attentive (also handsome) . The entire team made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu because this place seriously impressed me. Highly recommend Café Ooh La La if you’re looking for delicious French cuisine, quality ingredients, and a great atmosphere.
